Games like velvet assassin

It's a huge game with a ton of mods. I like Velvet Assassin more, because it's more of my kinda game, but I'm in the minority with that opinion. To me, both Velvet Assassin and Fallout 3 are about 7.

E:TW I didn't like enough to keep playing. Those two are the best RPGs in the last 5 years. For me even Oblivion isn't as good as those two Also, If you're looking for a good game then I would suggest Cryostasis.

The gameplay is slow, but the story is one of the best ever in a game. It's probably the only game that has made me think so much about the storyline and what it means I agree with you on almost everything.

Both are completely different. VA is a stealth game, and a short one. Fallout 3 is open-ended, with tons of mods that fine-tune it to your liking, and with the DLCs you can play it for hundreds of hours. I love them both. If I had to choose, then it would be FO3, hands down. Again because I just did that, 10 minutes ago , I am copying and pasting here what I said to a friend of mine:. It's top-notch in atmosphere and immersion. I really feel like the lone wanderer, directly out of Vault to discover a whole world of possibilities I decided to play every game installed in my computer one by one and only then continue to play Fallout 3.

These morphine syringes are limited to each mission and allow players to enter a trance like mode which will blur your vision slightly and slow time allowing you to attack a soldier head on or simply make that quick getaway you need. While a handy get out of jail free card the limited number and duration of morphine available stops it being a completely game breaking mechanic unless significantly upgraded at least.

These upgrading options are tied closely to experience points that are earned for finding collectible items and secret achievements during your dozen spy missions. With these points players will be able to upgrade the aforementioned morphine to boost both the number and duration, improve their sneaking speed or bolster their strength to provide additional durability from bullets.

Like other spy focused adventures Velvet Assassin requires patience with many moments of waiting patiently in a bush as you wait for soldiers to finish chatting on the plus side, the soldiers often have interesting conversations that you can eavesdrop on. These things reappear because they work in other titles, so why not re-use them? No marks for originality, but only the disguise system could truly be said to be a bad implementation of a trusted mechanic it's far too easy for your cover to be blown.

Everything else works and makes the game solid and dependable. You know what you are getting and so aren't too disappointed not to see exciting new ideas cropping up all over the place.

One slightly new-ish idea although it is effectively bullet-time is 'Morphine mode', where time stops still and you can rush up to an alerted character in order to take them out before they can react. Now, remember when I gave the developers a well done for not exploiting the fact a woman is the lead character?

I spoke too soon. In Morphine mode Violette strips down to a flimsy nightie. The premise is that, being a dream, Violette can get around potentially lethal situations by twisting the timeline and making sure herdream continues. Flimsy, just like her nightie. Nevertheless, barely explicable scantily clad slo-mo sequences aside, Velvet Assassin is a really solid game.

I rented this on Xbox when it f I had absolutely no interest in this game at first. It looked like another low budget under the radar stealth kill ripoff game I guess that's kind of what it is. You will also be able to use a SS uniform in some missions, but that will make the game almost more diff Velvet Assassin is a proper stealth game in the sense that Thief was a proper stealth game and the Splinter Cell games tried, but they were too busy playing with toys prefixed by terms like tactical, special ops, etc.

In this game you will become an expert creeper. You'll creep behind Nazis, beside Nazis, in front of Nazis. You'll even creep in rooms that have no Nazis because you're paranoid that there's one in the next room who migh No comment this game has it's own style it's that kind of game that leaves you good memories and an experience that you never seen before in a game.

This game it's a game you never wanna stop playing, i can't explain in Velvet Assassin First Released Apr 30, released.
