I have searched through but it does not appear on any of the settings. I believe the IPhone4 does that with ios4. Also, can you get an iPad2 dataplan without a contract from either ATT or verizon and instead just pay month to month? Why can't the iPad 2 be used as a personal hotspot? I expected iOS 4. Why is that? As much as the Apple ecosystem works smoothly, not all iPad owners have an iPhone 4 and will use it to tether their iPads to the internet.

I just noticed that the Personal Hotspot menu item has just disappeared from my settings on my new iPad. I have an Ipad 2 with wi-fi and 3G I bought in December I have been trying to hook up a hp envy eprinter to it using the 3G network that I have with Telus.
